Derald started with Murphey, Jenne
& Jones (predecessor to Doehring, Winders & Co. LLP) upon graduation
from the University
of Illinois in June
1959. He was admitted as a partner in April 1967.
Education:
Derald earned his B.S. in Accountancy in 1959 from the University of Illinois
in Urbana-Champaign.
Professional Activities:
Derald is a member of the AICPA and the Illinois CPA Society. He is a past
chairman and member of the practice review and practice management
committees. Derald is a member and past president of the East Central
Illinois Estate and Financial Planning Council.
Civic Activities:
Since 1965, Derald is a member and former president of the Kiwanis Club of
Mattoon; he is also a past president and board member of the Mattoon Chamber
of Commerce; former treasurer and board member of Coles Together (Coles
County Economic Development Organization); past officer and board member of
the Mattoon Golf and Country Club; former president and continues as a board
member of Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Foundation; and member and past president
and elder of St. John's Lutheran church and related organizations, Mattoon,
Illinois.
Other:
Derald and Sara were married in June 1960 and have one daughter, Cynthia, and
two sons, Timothy and Christopher. Derald also has seven grandchildren.
