In Memoriam Michael T. Weber, C.P.A. We are deeply saddened by the
loss of Michael T. Weber, C.P.A. who passed away on October 24, 2011 at age
73. Mike began his career with
our predecessor firm, Murphey, Jenne
& Jones, in 1962 after his graduation from Eastern Illinois
University. He served as a
principal in the firm and in that role made significant contributions to our
growth. His areas of special
expertise included accounting and taxation for the farming and petroleum industries. Mike and his wife Dorothy
raised two sons, Steve and Tom, in Strasburg, Illinois. He was a lifelong member of that
community’s St. Paul’s Lutheran Church which is where he was
baptized, confirmed, married and buried. Those who had the pleasure of
working with Mike know that he was a true gentleman and a consummate
professional. His presence at
Doehring, Winders & Co. LLP was greatly missed when he retired in June of
2003.
