has received a number of awards over the years. More recent highlights include: ·
AICPA
Peer Review Certification of Recognition (2010) – The Firm
demonstrated that it designed and complied with systems of quality control
for its accounting and auditing practice that met the required quality
control standards established by the AICPA. The Firm’s most recent peer
review resulted in rating of pass, indicative of its commitment to
quality. View System Review Report. In 2007, the Firm received an
unqualified report without a letter of comments, which was the highest rating
then available. ·
American
Cancer Society Silver Sponsorship (2011) – Since 2004, the
Firm has raised almost $18,000 through fundraising and sponsorship to support
the Relay for Life of Coles County.
In 2011, Doehring, Winders & Co. LLP’s relay team, Accountin’ on a Cure, was recognized as a Bronze
level team raising almost $3,000. ·
Eastern
Illinois University Award of Excellence (2004)– The Firm was recognized as a valuable contributor for the
Graduate Assistance Program and has hosted three individuals, Megan L. Coy,
Claire E. Anderson and Brooke N. Lading, as Graduate Assistants. ·
B.E.S.I.
Award (Business Ethics and Social Involvement) (2004) – The Firm was recognized for distinguishing itself
in the pursuit of ethics and social involvement among other businesses within
East Central Illinois.
